Nerovia is cut as though sculpted from obsidian. Its silhouette is elongated, architectural, and unapologetically dramatic. The bodice is a masterpiece of structure: clean lines, sharp tailoring, a plunging neckline softened by precise draping that resembles rippling water at night.
From the waist, the gown spills into a floor-length skirt, layered with cascading folds that echo the fluidity of a river in perpetual motion. The train extends with deliberate weight, trailing like a dark tide, ensuring that every step leaves an imprint of authority.
At the shoulders, subtle embellishments curve like glistening arcs — a reminder that even in shadow, there is shimmer.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Nerovia is made from black silk velvet blended with organza overlays, chosen for its depth and sheen. Velvet captures light in pools of shadow, creating an effect of liquid black that shifts with every movement. Over this foundation, sheer organza is hand-draped, mimicking the layering of water over stone.
The gown’s embroidery is done with hematite beads, black sequins, and metallic gunmetal threads, arranged in rippling motifs across the bodice and skirt. These embellishments are applied by hand, one by one, requiring over 400 hours of craftsmanship, and shimmering only in fleeting glimpses — like moonlight breaking through dark water.
